These photos pretty much sum up perfection in dressing for me right now. They look real, they are mostly minimal, and classic. Love the skirts, love the grey, love how happy they both look.

My Made by Hank order arrived on Wednesday! Thought you all might want a peek. (I’ve already filled one of the ruffle bags. It’s now happily organizing my purse.) Thanks, Katie!

Tip for the day: Google reader will not save blog posts as “unread” indefinitely. I just learned this the hard way, as I had been falling into the bad habit of marking especially good posts “unread”, to remind me to revisit them (or perhaps blog about a component in them – one of my biggest fears is running out of things to talk about). So today, I bring you an “unread” favorite that I discovered through Kathryn at Snippet & Ink. Pier Gustafson created the lovely invitations pictured here for the July wedding of Catherine & Andrew that Kathyrn featured. If you love the invites as much as I do, check out Pier’s website for a glimpse at the glorious, non-minimal loveliness, from calligraphy to invitations to maps. All gorgeous.

Thanks, Kathryn for the inspiration!

I’m not really a stamper, but my all-things-Japan obsession seems to have expanded to rubber stamps. Found these today at good-ness. Sooooo cute! (I do like coffee and mail.)

What I love about Prada is that the collections always expand my view of fashion, and what I think I’ll want to wear. (Isn’t lace growing on you this fall? It is for me.) See the spring 2009 collection at style.com.
