This is what it has looked like in our neighborhood for the past few mornings. A foggy and damp start that burns off mid-morning, followed by summerish days. Plenty of stars overnight as well. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Welcome, fall!

While clicking around the web trying to distract myself from my morning dentist appointment, I found this ultra-cool “Air Mail” card by Donovan Beeson. Available at Greer, of course. (set of five)

Yay! The Spring 08 issue of Wedding Style Guide is now online (and for sale in Australia). Check it out at styleguide.com.au. The “Have a Ball” story looks fresh and inviting. Can’t wait to see the print copy.

After a multitude of “girl clothes” posts (with no girl to dress), I am pleased that I’ve found some perfect outfits for boys at London shop Caramel. Especially that orange sweater.
Giveaway alert: Jodie, the clock is ticking …. please send your contact/mailing info to me by 5 pm so I can send you the magazine!

This seems to be a recurring theme of late. Not only did I miss an awesome silhouette class in Calgary on Saturday, but I’m going to miss another fabulous class in October. And this one is local, so I can’t write it off as impractical. The Evanston Print and Paper Shop is holding a Computer Design Bootcamp on October 11 & 12. My friend E recently suggested that I consider designing a small stationery line (and I’m thinking about it, but really small), and this would have been a great way to hone some skills in Illustrator and turn them into letterpress ready plates. Perfect, huh? Well, I’ll be at a wedding for day #1. I really hope EP&P offers this again.
If you’re in the Chicago area, check out their other workshop offerings, too.
why the robin photo? well, I would definitely have a bird card, and robins are my fav ….
And Happy Birthday, E!
