If you’re in or near Calgary today, may I suggest you stop in Uppercase Gallery? Not only will you be able to check out the Old School Exhibit (got the book & love it), but there is a silhouette workshop today at 2 pm. Silhouettes are one of my many obsessions (don’t you love the photos above?) but even cooler is that Uppercase will digitize your creation so you can use it over and over.
Check it out at uppercasegallery.ca.

It’s obvious what I did yesterday, isn’t it? (My C and Bazaar subscriptions arrived on Thursday as well. Because when it rains, it pours.) I’m super psyched to dig into domino, as the shopping town is Boston! Hooray!
On with the Five:
- little things
- tousled
- what can be better than strawberries?
- red
- A Small
Today or tomorrow, I’m hoping to head over to Neiman’s and window shop the Prada Days event. Could be fun. I’m also hoping to get caught up on blog reading & commenting, and flickr comments. I’ve fallen behind.
See you later!

This morning, Grace introduced me to Winged Wheel, and what can I say? I’m in love. Thankfully, there’s an online shop. My Japanese design fascination is growing rapidly.

Time is flying by. With both of the “boys” birthdays behind us, the clock now ticks to October which means Halloween and, if you believe Pottery Barn, Christmas. The new/October Pottery Barn catalog arrived yesterday full of wreaths and stockings, and I freaked. Not ready! I haven’t even thought about pumpkins yet! (Let’s face it, I’m still busy killing bees.)
As it’s Thursday, and I’m a huge creature of habit/routine, I will be celebrating “magazine day” after lunch. I’m hoping to find these October mags, which should hit the shelves today:

Yet another artist that I missed at Renegade was Denise Ann Simon. Thankfully, thanks to Tracie at Broadway Paper’s blog post (I’m still in awe that you made it to Renegade, Tracie. You must have water-repelling powers!) clued me in. And so I added her shop to my reader. The “Little Love Notes” pictured above were just added, and they’re adorable! Check out/bookmark Denise’s shop here. My personal fav is “Little Red Reading Hood”. Hopefully, she’ll be back soon …..
