Love at first sight: I need to try stroopwafels, stat. Waffle cookies with caramel filling, sold in packages of twelve through The Good Batch, and also at Terrain, packaged or as a set with a hot chocolate stir stick and mug. Yumminess and the perfect winter pick-me-up. (This is the sort of gift I love to give and receive.)

Ooh, they’re super yummy! I think they’re like the national cookie of the Netherlands or something, since they were available everywhere when I was on a trip to Amsterdam a few years ago. Very sweet, but delicious!
In Holland we even have an ice cream with stroopwafel flavour! It’s so jummy!
this looks soooo tasty – i must hunt down and try a stroopwafel!
oh my gosh, yes, try them ASAP. I had them in Amsterdam and ate a whole package in a day. They are a bit harder to find in the US, but I see them on occasion.
Also obsessed with those cookies. Or, I think I am – aren’t they athe same as bakker joops? Heck … I love them all.
yummm, those look amazing! I would love to get that as a gift this holiday!
Stroopwafels are delicious! You should put them on top of cup of hot tea, coffee or coco like on the picture and let them melt a little bit (just a little!)…
You live in chicago no? If so you can get stroopwafel at this grocery store in Lincoln Square. I think it’s called Gene’s and its got a big cow sign on the outside. They’re pretty cheap too.
