Happy Friday! On Monday of this week, my maple tree was full of glorious red leaves. On Thursday morning, it was bare. Hope you enjoy one last maple leaf photo.
And by the way, Henry (my new nephew) is the cutest thing ever, even if all he does is sleep. My sister says that I’m welcome to come over at 3am when he’s wide awake and cranky.

I totally miss Martha by Mail. I never got around to buying the ribbons, the cookie decorating kit, and right now, what I really miss is the Martha green enamel boot tray (because my ugly stand-in is going to be omnipresent before I know it). Which is why I’m so pleased to pass along this information from Jenni Bick. The online store has a limited supply of linen-bound photo albums that are a closeout of the Martha by Mail stock. I’m sure they’ll go quickly, so click on over to the Jenni Bick site for more details (including swatches of the nine colors – slate grey is my favorite – shock!). The albums would make great gifts, and great memories. But please, Martha, if you should happen to read this, bring your catalog back …..
